English Dub Review: 2.5 Dimensional Seduction “You’re Not Liliel!”

Overview:

Nagomi is the star of the event, and her words shook Ririsa to her very core. Now it’s up to Okumura, Mayuri, and the others to restore her confidence.

Our Take:

I had a feeling that Okumura would look like the anime character that Nagomi is in love with. Unfortunately, she drew such a big crowd that she had to move outside, which made things tough for all the other cosplayers. Not only that, but it made it difficult for her to spot Okumura, but he has bigger things to deal with. Ririsa can’t find her skirt, and I think we all noticed that someone accidentally took her bag in the last episode. Luckily, Okumura thought that might be the case and went in search of it.

This was a great episode for Ms. Hanyuu as well. I was a little confused at first because when Hanyuu showed up later in her cosplay, it seemed like Ririsa didn’t recognize her at first, but I was under the impression that they knew the character she cosplayed. At the very least, Okumura recognized her, and now she’s going to do her best to draw a crowd in order to give Ririsa time to change into her cosplay.
