English Dub Review: Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! “Fated Reunion in the Imperial City!”
Overview
By invitation of the emperor, Aria and company travel to the imperial city of Klareal. There, they meet legendary hero Prince Julius and the Holy Demoness Belzebuth.
Our Take
This time around, a royal summons draws the party to the imperial capital, where past connections and long-held secrets begin to surface. With tensions rising and an ominous threat looming, new alliances are formed and familiar faces return, bringing both guidance and unexpected revelations.
The rest of the proceedings shift gears into training and introspection as the group is pushed to grow stronger under the watchful eyes of seasoned warriors and magical mentors. There’s a notable shift in tone as the show begins to explore its deeper worldbuilding and hints at a wider mythology that’s been slowly building in the background…
Overall, the episode marks a clear turning point as it trades slice-of-life antics and fanservice for real stakes and emerging plotlines. While the humor and signature style remain intact, the added focus on backstory and foreshadowing raises the tension heading into the final stretch. And with only three episodes left, the groundwork has been laid for a high-stakes climax and hopefully a good one.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
