Paramount Adult Animation News: Everybody Still Hates Chris ; Star Trek Lower Decks

Comedy Central has posted a first-look teaser for the upcoming series premiere of Everybody Still Hates Chris set to premiere September 25th @ 10pm ET/PT only on Comedy Central.

Everybody Still Hates Chris, the animated spin-off series of the live-action sitcom of the same name with Chris Rock narrating animated moments in his life growing up in Brooklyn.

Chris Rock, Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold are reprising their roles in the animated series with new additions including Tim Johnson Jr. as Young Chris, Ozioma Akagha as Tonya, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Drew, and Gunnar Sizemore as Greg.

Synopsis:

Created by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (“Rick and Morty,” “Solar Opposites”), the fourth season of STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS finds the U.S.S. Cerritos ensigns being challenged in new ways and given new learning opportunities, while also learning they’ll be “lower decks” for a long time to come.

STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS season four stars Tawny Newsome as Ensign Beckett Mariner, Jack Quaid as Ensign Brad Boimler, Noël Wells as Ensign D’Vana Tendi, Eugene Cordero as Ensign Samathan Rutherford, Dawnn Lewis as Captain Carol Freeman, Jerry O’Connel as Commander Jack Ranson, Fred Tatasciore as Lieutenant Shaxs, and Gillian Vigman as Doctor T’Ana.

The series is produced by CBS’ Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios’ animation arm; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Secret Hideout’s Alex Kurtzman, Roddenberry Entertainment’s Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth, and Katie Krentz (219 Productions) serve as executive producers alongside creator and showrunner Mike McMahan. Aaron Baiers (Secret Hideout), who brought McMahan to the project, also serves as an executive producer. Titmouse (“Big Mouth”), the Emmy Award-winning independent animation production company, serves as the animation studio for the series.

STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution. In Canada, it airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel. The series will also be available to stream on Paramount+ in the UK, Canada, Latin America, Australia, Italy, France, the Caribbean, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland and South Korea.
