Adult Swim Celebrates April Fool’s Day With Surprise Animation Premieres, Commercials, And A Glimpse Into The Future
Those who had a chance to stay up and watch the 2023 edition of Adult Swim’s infamous April Fool’s Day prank were in for a night of surprises. To kick things off, the network re-imagined Smiling Friends as entirely produced by AI (we’re doing a deeper dive on this next week) before quickly ending that in favor of showcasing the premiere episode of Royal Crackers which you can watch here.
As the night moseyed on, we also got some live-action premieres which we really don’t give a shit about, along with a couple of commercials, but the only other big news thing that happened in the world of animation is a sneak peek rough-edit of Teenage Euthanasia season two which is slated to premiere Summer 2023.
You can watch the entirety of the Adult Swim broadcast for April Fool’s Day below.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
