Bid On A Limited Edition Cel From The 15th Season Of “The Simpsons” With Proceeds Going To Charity

Just as Disney is slated to fly a Maggie Simpson balloon in the upcoming Disney+ day happening November 12th, Jake Tapper is selling off a piece of memorabilia inspired by The Simpsons via eBay all for a good cause.

THE SIMPSONS, created by cartoonist Matt Groening, first appeared in 1987 as a series of 30-second shorts produced by Groening for the FOX series “The Tracey Ullman Show.” The irreverent Springfield residents premiered as a half hour Christmas special on Dec. 17, 1989 and then as a regular series on Jan. 14, 1990. The longest-running primetime animated series in history, and the longest-running sitcom currently on primetime television, THE SIMPSONS has been critically praised and bestowed with numerous honors.

In celebration of the 15th SEASON on air, a special hand-painted limited edition with a color-reproduced background was created featuring THE SIMPSONS, Mr. Burns, Smithers and Moe. This edition was produced as a gift of appreciation for the many hard-working friends and supporters connected with the show.

A Certificate of Authenticity signed by THE SIMPSONS & 20th Century FOX will be provided for this item.

All net proceeds will support Homes For Our Troops, Inc. To build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.
