English Dub Review: Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun “Run, Iruma, to Kirio!”
Kirio covers the entire school with magical force-fields preventing people from being able to move around which makes Iruma separated from Asmodeus and Clara, while Kirio begins his sinister plan. Around the same time this is going on, the Demon School council is cracking down on Sullivan who out of sheer happenstance senses the forcefield magic. In a series of orchestrated retcons and flashbacks, Big twists are revealed and Iruma is determined to find out why Kirio is committing terrorist acts against his own kind…
Our Take
This arc has been quite interesting, but it’s starting to drag a little in places but I hope we’ll see the conclusion in next week’s episode cause the build-up has been quite steady. Often times the show itself has the biggest flaw of putting too much focus on too many characters in this series and they try too hard to cover everyone in the show, everywhere and whatever they do. You’d think they should focus only on the main characters the most, but instead, it falls victim to the same contrived tropes as most Shonen Anime like Bleach, Naruto, and Black Clover.
We already know that Iruma is seeking out Kirio to confront his ass, while the staff is trying to find Kirio too. But hopefully With this pacing the next episode it’ll be the typical “master villain explaining the plot to his nemesis” kinda deal as typical for most Anime stories to give the villain some level of motivation & understanding behind their horrid actions.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
