Review: Deep Space 69 “The Singularititties”
A singular premise goes off the rails.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
This week’s episode sees Jay and Hamilton score new girlfriends AND get their hands on a map that takes them to the “Land of a 1000 Breasts” before Red Panda can get it. Not to fear, Red Panda’s hot on space crew’s tail and it looks like we’ll have to wait until season five to get any true resolution.
Our Take
The season finale of Mondo’s Deep Space 69 was strong in its presentation, but failing to really give a reward from a plot point of you after eight episodes. The battle scenes for the map were awesome, and we got a possible few new characters to boot for next season, but we spent eight episodes to get to a planet only to now have to wait until the fifth season to really get any REAL payoff. Knowing this kinda sucks, and we’ll get into more detail about that in the series review but it’s a classic case of a beautiful face with not a lot going for it under the hood.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
