Sinclair Broadcasting Becomes Biggest Independent FOX Affiliate After Tribune Buy

How ironic.

Sinclair Broadcasting has put into motion to acquire Tribune media for $3.9 billion. This deal would make for the biggest independent FOX affiliate in the country, and also includes stations for CBS, the CW, CBS and others.

A few conditions need to be met first before the deal is put through, but should be completed by the end of the year.
