Bongo Comics Review: Simpsons Comics #183
After the jump I have reviews for last week’s Bongo Comics release for the Simpsons Comics issue #183.After seeking respite in the tent of a fortune teller during the Springfield Renaissance Faire, Comic Book Guy is spellbound by a reading of his future where ‘Everything’s Bartchie!’ (courtesy of our special guest penciller, Marvel and Archie Comics artist extraordinaire, Stan Goldberg)! Also, ‘Angry Dad’ meets the ATM!
Everything’s Bartchie
In this month’s issue of the Simpsons Comics, our favorite Comic Book Guy runs into a fortune teller. He gets a reading that turns his world to that of an Archie world(pretty much The Simpsons drawn up like the Archie Comics courtesy of Stan Goldberg) . The only thing wrong with this issue is how this wasn’t a Bart Simpson issue as its basically his story(albeit a good one). Some GREAT cameos and shout outs to other Bongo properties and I really enjoyed the fact that all the rules were broken here for the names and overall look of the characters. Also, a funny Angry Dad and Snowball II is apparently the new Garfield/Heathcliff.
One of the best issues of the year by far if not the best…great job by the Bongo team.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
