Our Take

Picking up from the previous episode, Juzo, Noren, Chisato, and Tenma find themselves on an unexpected double date filled with shopping, lunch, and plenty of awkward moments. However, the outing takes a chaotic turn when Juzo suddenly goes through a random change, forcing him to scramble for a solution while trying to keep his secret hidden. Before long, a new threat emerges, pulling everyone into yet another dangerous situation involving a pair of unusual young assassins.

As events escalate, Juzo is forced to balance his responsibilities with the friendships he has built during his time as a middle schooler. Meanwhile, Tenma continues to mature as a character, showing surprising integrity and loyalty when faced with an opportunity that could have benefited him personally. The episode also introduces intriguing new adversaries whose bizarre abilities and motivations add another layer of unpredictability to the story.

Overall, this episode blends comedy, action, and character development exceptionally well while raising new questions about Juzo’s condition and the challenges ahead. The humor remains one of the series’ strongest assets, but there is also a greater sense of tension as personal bonds are tested and new enemies enter the picture. Without relying on major revelations, the episode succeeds in building anticipation for what comes next while delivering another entertaining and chaotic adventure.
