English Dub Review: Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World With Garbage Balancing “Sneak Attack”
Overview:
Allen merely sees the Armored Ant colony as a test of his abilities. He has no idea that victory could lead to political consequences.
Our Take(Spoilers):
If you were expecting this show to spend a long time marinating in the loss of a son, then you’ll be disappointed. Cecil was pretty upset, as to be expected, but Allen handled bringing her home in a great way. He didn’t say he was going to take her back or anything; instead, he provided company and comfort. She ultimately decided to go home on her own, with Allen carrying her, of course.
What truly ended the issue was Cecil declaring that she would follow in her brother’s footsteps and complete her noble duty. Hopefully, that doesn’t lead to her getting killed in battle, but we might have to worry about something a lot sooner. When the Baron is asked to share his mithril mining rights, he wants to take it to the king to question its legitimacy. Not long after, Cecil is kidnapped along with Allen after he tries to rescue her. There’s one more episode before the break before season two, and I didn’t think I would be looking forward to that, but I am!
