English Dub Review: Mistress Kanan Is Devilishly Easy “Ami Has Arrived”

Overview:

Kanan’s maid, Ami, has come to check on her and snack on all the cute humans.

Our Take:

If you’re a fan of romance,, then the spring season of anime is giving you lots to watch. Kanan doesn’t have one of the main tropes because she and Youji are already a couple. Unfortunately, a lot of the other tropes are still here. I don’t know how a demon would know about the idea of an indirect kiss. If I weren’t such a huge anime fan, I would never have thought about it. I never cared about sharing a drink or something with someone before.

Youji seems to be popular because he was doing the rounds with Kanan as part of the disciplinary commitee and lots of girls seemed to be into him. This led to a jealous Kanan and I do like the way Kanan and Youji interact with each other.

It seems that some people from Kanan’s world are going to end up joining her in our world. Ami, her maid, comes to the school and already has brought a ton of chaos. She finds everyone charming, and I’m not sure how she’s draining everyone of their energy but she was for sure trying to make out with the teacher. Not sure how I feel about Ami is a character yet.
