English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Hauxiu Celestial Ranking Tournament”
My guy has a hair clon
Overview:
The quadrennial Huaxiu Celestial Tournament of Huaxiu is about to begin, and as always, Wang Ling is involved.
Our Take:
One thing about this show that’s tough is that unless some of the names get written down, I have no idea what to call certain characters. During the tournament in this episode, there’s a character who looks like Saitama from One Punch Man. This show already has a lot of similarities to that anime in how Wang Ling acts as a character. But with this character, I might have to call him One Flick Man, because he flicked a guy, and he went flying.
If this Saitama wannabe wins the tournament, he gets to face the number one cultivator in the world, and I think you can guess who that is. Wang Ling “accidentally” won that spot years ago as a child. He doesn’t want to show himself to the world, so he sends a clone of sorts that he can make using a single strand of hair. He decides to name this new warrior, Crunchy Noodles. We’ll get to see the battle between Saitama V2 and Crunchy Noodles next week, and something tells me that at the very least, it will be hilarious.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
