English Dub Review: A Misanthrope Teaches a Class for Demi-Humans “The Misanthrope and the Comet’s Pilgrimage”

Overview:

The advanced class decides to throw a surprise graduation ceremony. Sui asks Rei to deliver a letter.

Our Take:

Since Isaki has two different personalities depending on the moon, the class decides to have two graduation ceremonies since one of them will not get to participate. I’ve loved getting to see everyone grow close to each other, and I know that we probably won’t get to see Isaki again. I hope I’m wrong. She’s shown a lot of growth, but it seems that we’re going at a breakneck pace. During a meeting that Hitoma had with Tobari, it seems that the second school year has come to a close. Perhaps they mean semester, but this has been going a lot faster than similar shows.

Now, Hitoma is going to be getting a teaching assistant, and when he saw who it was, he freaked out a little bit. This leads me to question a few things. What is the story behind his relationship with this person? Also, how does Tobari know that it’s going to be an issue for him? I mentioned a love interest because it seems like this show keeps wanting to give Hitoma one, but it keeps giving him fakeouts instead. Maybe this new teacher will solve that problem.
