Picking up from the previous episode, Crunchyroll surprised viewers by dropping two dubbed episodes at once. The first widens the series’ scope while keeping Flum at the center, turning a routine errand into a morally gray detour involving outlawed medicine, rising Church influence, and mounting tension beneath the surface. Sara’s arrival adds a welcome contrast to Flum’s harsher journey, and while some exposition is blunt, the growing political and ideological threads push the narrative beyond a straightforward revenge tale.
