English Dub Review: Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You “I Can’t Give Up” “My True Self”
Overview:
Mizuho reminisces about the day she and Kizuki started dating. Shin approaches Mizuho with his feelings once more.
Airu takes a chance and confesses his feelings to Kizuki, and his delinquent past is revealed.
Our Take:
I don’t want to admit it, but these were two of the better episodes I’ve seen in this series. The second episode we got was especially good because it wasn’t as focused on Mizuho and her relationship drama. It’s still disappointing because while I’m excited to see Mizuho and Kizuki become an official couple, since we have a view of the future, we know that it doesn’t last. I am intrigued to find out what goes wrong, though.
The second episode was focused on Airu, and in case you hadn’t figured it out before, we learn that he’s gay. He’s in love with Kizuki, and while that’s annoying in its own right, I was still happy with how this episode played out. Airu was a badass there for a while. He beat the shit out of anyone that he felt like beating. Eventually, he met a guy who let him know that he wasn’t as weird or alone as he thought.
The way Kizuki reacted to Airu’s confession was refreshing as well. Airu kissed Kizuki and told him that he loved him, then started to run away until Kizuki stopped him. He didn’t freak out or make Airu feel like he was a freak. All he told him was that he was in love with Mizuho, so he couldn’t reciprocate his feelings. But Airu is still very important to him, and he wants him to be in his life still. This was much needed for Airu because he got some validation that he wasn’t a weirdo or a freak. I hope we get more episodes like these.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
