English Dub Review: The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess “I Choose the Beauty of the Elves Over the Normies of the Human World”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
Iana has fought hard to change the Dark History, but she realizes that the story is being altered in ways that she can’t control. While visiting a country villa, Iana and the others meet a boy accompanying a wounded elf and decide to look after them—an event that signals that the vampire incident is about to occur. As Iana prepares to check the vampire’s tomb, Sol asks her to take him along.
Our Take:
Iana’s strive for a peaceful life just got a whole lot more challenging, even after exposing Amaryllis’s seductive ways. In addition to being haunted by Amaryllis’s sudden death, Iana now learns that the Dark History is changing to match its intended structure. No matter how hard she tries to alter her own destiny, the story always finds a way to make her new life even more unbearable. Not to mention, a mysterious individual is watching the action from a distance. However, that issue gets set to the side when she and the others are put on bodyguard duty for a boy named Kagura Ivy and the elf, Shukuna.
This may seem like a harmless task at first, at least compared to the previous endeavor Iana encountered, but that isn’t the case when Iana’s story adds a Vampire Lord into the mix. This prompted Iana, along with Sol and Yomi, to prevent an even bigger disaster from shedding blood upon the elven civilization. With the addition of elves and vampires, the episode further showcased how insane Iana’s world-building continues to become and how irritating changing one’s fate can be. If that’s not enough, Iana would have to accomplish this dangerous mission while keeping Sol and Yomi’s trust through different methods. Considering that we’re nearing the end of the season, having a vampire in Iana’s list of problems would make for an enticing finale amid the show’s vibrantly kooky tone and the elves’ beauty.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
