English Dub Review: Tales of Wedding Rings “Episode 23”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
Satou’s group steels their resolve and invades the Abyss King’s castle to begin their final battle.
Our Take:
It’s really easy to see how far Satou and the others have come in their journey. It’s not just regarding their gradual strengths in their abilities, but also the bonds between Satou and the other Ring Princesses, particularly him and Hime. This is evident in the princesses sharing their honest feelings with Satou for the last time, and Hime not growing jealous of them kissing him. That is undoubtedly a great process in my eyes, especially when they’re one step closer to defeating the Abyss King. Unsurprisingly, confronting the Abyss King is no easy task, as they’re also forced to battle his five Generals, who resemble the first Ring Princesses. So, it appears Satou’s wives will be fighting their own species to achieve victory, while Satou begins his biggest showdown yet.
There’s no doubt that the show has plenty of seductiveness in store amid its “Lord of the Rings”-like journey. But this episode, which includes flashy action and the team’s tenderhearted moment, demonstrates that it’s time to put that aside to confront the ultimate adversary for the last time. That is, unless the show decides to leave things open for a third season. However, given the arc it has introduced since the beginning, I think Tales of Wedding Rings is better off having a two-season run and letting Satou and Hime finally have their peace together. With only two episodes left of the season, the final battle between Satou and the Abyss King begins!

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
