English Dub Review:The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest “Labyrinth”
Overview
Lasting Period descends into the Labyrinth to find Olivia.
Our Take
Picking up from the previous episode, Lasting Period navigates the Labyrinth on a challenging mission. Alec and Krasia are paired together, linked by the Mobius Ring that keeps them close despite teleportation traps, while Ornest and Yorha handle another section. Along the way, the group encounters signs of Olivia’s presence and hints of the Shadow Guild, adding tension and intrigue to their progress without revealing specific plot twists.
The episode also highlights character dynamics and teamwork. Krasia’s care for Olivia, Alec, and Krasia’s budding rapport, and the playful back-and-forth between Ornest and Yorha provide depth to the story. Olivia’s determined pursuit of her own objectives creates conflict, while the group’s collaboration emphasizes Lasting Period’s cohesion and resourcefulness.
Overall, this installment delivers a dynamic, character-focused setup that blends rising tension with strong party chemistry, using teamwork, paired dynamics, and emerging threats in the Labyrinth to build momentum for what comes next. The dungeon challenges heighten the stakes without overshadowing the relationships at the core of the story, allowing subtle rivalries, personal motivations, and strategic problem-solving to shape the tone. By emphasizing camaraderie, deepening mysteries, and the growing presence of new adversaries, the episode maintains energy and suspense while clearly positioning the cast for critical developments ahead.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
