English Dub Review: Tales of Wedding Rings “Episode 21”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
Satou and Hime have sex.
Our Take:
Okay, I’m not going to lie. The plot description of this week’s episode made me chuckle. Literally, all it says is that the episode is only about Satou and Hime finally having sex after being confronted by their fears and anxieties for so long. I know that there’s more to it than just their intimate moment, but I couldn’t help but laugh at how basic this premise is. Can you imagine this plot description, and it’s just 23 minutes of Satou and Hime doing their “business”? But, in all seriousness, the episode basically serves as a conclusion to Satou’s mission to rescue Hime from the Abyss…by finally allowing their consent.
As a result, the light within the husband-and-wife duo shines brighter than ever, both literally and metaphorically, enough to help the princesses overcome the Abyss creature. More importantly, it marks the next step in their growing relationship, with them overcoming their fears and doubts to officially become a couple. However, there’s still the matter of them defeating the Abyss King to have a peaceful future together. The episode continues to display its humor through the characters’ awkwardness, particularly in Hime and Satou’s lovemaking. But, its true power lies once again in the protagonists’ compelling development regarding their relationship amid its risqué context.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
