English Dub Review: Dusk Beyond the End of the World “The Woman Who Sailed the Soul”
Overview:
Akira is a stranger in a strange land. As the locals decide his fate, he must learn what happened to Towasa and the world that left him behind.
Our Take:
I have a feeling this is going to be my favorite show of the year. The story has enough intrigue and mystery to keep me invested. Not only that, but if this episode’s fight scene is anything to go by, then we are in for a visual treat. Akira has awoken in a future that can only be called dystopian if you ask me. The powers at be have plans for Akira and plan to kidnap him and kill all the people of the village that rescued him. Until an android comes to save the day, that is. An android that looks shockingly familiar to Towasa and even asks Akira to marry her right away.
The android’s name is Yuugure, and she’s badass. She sliced through bad guys like butter, and she was able to turn her arm into a railgun. The way they animated what the railgun did to the guy she hit with it was both disturbing and amazing. If this episode is a testament of things to come, we’re in for a treat.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
