English Dub Review: Bad Girl “A Co-Ord Based on Vibes / Confession / She’s Here!”
Overview:
Yuu comes up with a way to make Atori sign up for forest camp. Yuu soon finds herself in a tight spot on a different bus than Atori and Suzu.
Our Take:
One positive thing I can say about this show is that it can be very funny. The first third of this episode was hilarious, and I can’t decide if it’s because Yuu wasn’t in it. Suzu was at the mall because Yuu was busy and got a text from Atori. She was going to say she was busy, but Atori ended up sitting next to her. What made this part so funny was Suzu going clothes shopping with Atori and texting Yuu about which outfits she thought would be best on Atori. As you can imagine, Yuu’s response was hilarious, and she wasn’t expecting Atori to read it.
We might have a fun plotline coming up soon, though, when Suzu and Yuu go to forest camp with Atori. Yuu ended up on a different bus from Atori and Suzu, which led to a funny interaction, but in some classic trip hijinks, Yuu and Atori ended up missing the bus when at a rest stop. I’m looking forward to what this will mean for the two in the next episode.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
