Welcome, Our Alien Overlords: The Simpsons Invades Fortnite with a Full Springfield Island
The Simpsons has officially arrived in the world of Fortnite, taking over the battle royale with a massive crossover event that has transformed the map into the familiar town of Springfield. This “mini season” introduces a host of iconic characters, locations, and cosmetics for players to collect.
Springfield Island: A New Map for Battle Royale
The event, which began with the “Welcome, Our Alien Overlords” in-game event on November 1, 2025, has merged the Fortnite island with Springfield to create a smaller, 80-player Battle Royale map called Springfield Island.
The map is filled with classic locations (Points of Interest, or POIs) directly from the long-running animated series, including:
- Evergreen Terrace
- Burns Manor
- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant
- Kamp Krusty
- Donut District
- Cletus’ Corn Hole
- Springfield Town Square
The Simpsons Battle Pass and Key Skins
The mini season features a new, themed Battle Pass loaded with skins, cosmetics, and V-Bucks. Highlights of the unlockable rewards include:
The pass also includes the Peels Sidekick companion, the Lil’ Station Wagon Emote, and the Lazy Man Toilet Seat Glider. Additional bonus rewards, including the Springfielder Peely Skin, are slated to be unlocked later in the month.
Event Duration
The Simpsons Fortnite mini season, which acts as an interim season between Chapter 6, Season 4 and Chapter 7, Season 1, will be live for nearly a month, starting on November 1, 2025, and concluding on November 29, 2025.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
