Review: Haha, You Clowns! “Dad’s Birthday”
Overview
Dad’s old friends are in town for his birthday, and they have quite the stories to tell.
Our Take
Yeah it’s dad’s birthday and it’s kind of sweet but overall this week’s episode of Haha You Clowns! do enough to establish dad’s old friends in town. Like yeah we got a glimpse of Dad being in the war and some of these guys are clearly from that era but everything was so cameo that I didn’t really care for any of them at all with the slight exception being Bruski who is introduced quickly into the episode but more or less dismissed the same way. Also, I thought this was an episode about DAD’s birthday not Bruski needing an AA assist which I think kind of spoils what could’ve made dad’s big day a bigger event than what we really got.
Besides going ham on a birthday cake, there’s not a lot of birthday here. Like where are the presents? The clowns?? Maybe some strippers or hookers?? Hell, Dad doesn’t even get plastered he just goes to bed early. Maybe this is all leading up to something for the finale but I really wanted to get more into dad’s birthday before we needed to deal with Bruski and all of his problems.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
