Review: Smiling Friends “Silly Samuel”
Overview
Pim and Charlie are tasked with helping a freak no one likes.
Our Take
That episode description seemed a little more harsh than it needed to be because Silly Samuel actually seems like a pretty sweet guy just frustrated with how the outside world perceives him. Sound familiar? Hmmm…feel that…that’s Smiling Friends reaching deep into your soul and giving you all of the feels that you needed. Who would have thought the show’s third season premiere would be so wholesome and beneficial to the wright of mankind in just a wee bit quarter-hour?
My favorite character in the show, Mr. Boss, also gets a heavy-hand dealt to him but he handles it…like a boss. Granted Bob’s Burgers does inspection episodes all-of-the-time but EVERY business has to do an inspection from the town so clearly the two shows are commiserating over the same damn thing and both have similar experiences when doing just that.
Overall Smiling Friends checks in with their fastball down the middle pitch that works most of the time and Pim, Charlie, Alan, and the Boss are kicking things off on a more than solid third season.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
