English Dub Review: Rent-a-Girlfriend “Strings and Girlfriend”

Overview:

Chizuru and Kazuya deal with a little incident, blissfully unaware of the moves Mami is making.

Our Take:

I get it, boobs are great, who doesn’t love boobs? But with as much as Kazuya jerks off, I can’t believe he hasn’t seen a lot of boobs. Yet, when Chizuru loses her top while in the pool, he loses his shit thinking, “I can’t believe she’s topless right now”. I get it, the boobs of the person you’re interested in are always better than internet boobs, but c’mon, man. I commend him for stepping up and helping her find her top, but the way he freaks out over things like that, I can’t help but feel like Mami might be right by calling him a creep.

I’m aware that I bring this up way too much, but if it continues to be an issue in this show, I’m gonna mention it. Why is it that every time some guys walk by a girl that Kazuya happens to be next to, they say the most stupid shit? I get that it’s animated, but I have never once seen a girl so insanely attractive that I would say some of the shit these people do. I’m gonna guess the mangaka for this series hasn’t had a girlfriend ever in his life.
