English Dub Review: New Saga “Hidden Ambitions”

Overview:

Kyle insists on finding the secret underground passage hidden beneath Karan.

Our Take:

There are two demons now, and from what I can tell, they’re pretty powerful. But before we get to that, I have to say that I’m enjoying the relationship forming between Kyle and Urza. Kyle needed help getting through some rubble and needed Urza to use her magic to get through it, but that would use up all of her power. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on how you look at it), Kyle brought a bunch of magic potions to continuously replenish her. Apparently, they’re nasty, and you will still feel tired afterwards, but she did the work.

As for the demons, they came to fight, but Kyle has the upper hand, I think. I love a good villain monologue, but Kyle said it best. When someone starts monologuing, typically that means they think that they’ve won. So Kyle takes it upon himself to let them know how wrong they are, and a pretty intense battle ensues. The best result is that Theron finally was able to get the sword he was looking for. I’ve really enjoyed the character interactions in this show.
