Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Gets Earlier U.S. Release Date
Fans in the United States have reason to celebrate as the highly anticipated film, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, will be arriving in theaters sooner than expected. Originally scheduled for an October 29 release, Sony Pictures Entertainment has moved the U.S. theatrical premiere up to October 24.
The announcement of the earlier release date was accompanied by a new dubbed trailer and a series recap video, building excitement for the film’s arrival. The movie’s U.S. release follows its theatrical debut in Japan on September 19 and its international rollout, which begins on September 24. It will be screened exclusively in theaters and on IMAX screens.
The film is being produced by the acclaimed studio MAPPA, with returning key staff from the popular TV anime series. This includes director Tatsuya Yoshihara, scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko, and character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama.
The movie continues the story from the Chainsaw Man TV anime series, which first aired in Japan in October 2022 and is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
