“Haunted Hotel” Scares Its Way to Netflix with a New Trailer
Netflix is set to debut a new horror-comedy, Haunted Hotel, on September 19. The adult animated series is a 2D-animated production from Emmy-winning studio Titmouse, known for its work on shows like Big Mouth and The Venture Bros.
The show, created by Rick and Morty story editor Matt Roller, follows a single mother of two as she attempts to run a haunted hotel. Her task is complicated by the presence of her estranged brother, who is now a ghost and a permanent resident with some unusual ideas.
The voice cast features Will Forte as Nathan, Eliza Coupe as Katherine, Skyler Gisondo as Ben, Natalie Palamides as Esther, and Jimmi Simpson as Abaddon. Matt Roller serves as series creator and executive producer alongside Chris McKenna, Dan Harmon, and Steve Levy. The team from Titmouse—Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina—are also executive producers, with Erica Hayes as the supervising director.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
