English Dub Review: To Be Hero X “Died-Out Flame”
Overview:
Little Johnny becomes a young hero to find out the truth surrounding his father’s death.
Our Take:
Remember when I thought Queen’s dad might be the main villain we’ve yet to see revealed? I don’t necessarily think that anymore, but at the very least, he’s a pushover who lets his daughter be put into dangerous situations. Perhaps if that was him in the mask previously, he’s trying to bring down the hero society. It got me thinking that if there is a company running heroes, then it stands to reason they don’t want bad guys and evil doers to go away completely, right? Without crime, there’s no need for heroes, at least not as many as there are.
I had it pointed out to me that Ghostblade was probably who killed Little Johnny’s dad. That made me… upset. I want to like Ghostblade, but if that ends up being the case, it’s going to be hard to like him. But since he’s an assassin who works for the hero society and Little Johnny’s dad quit the hero society, I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case. I love complex characters, so I might have to come to terms with that soon. It was awesome to see things from a different point of view, but I hope some of these plotlines start coming together.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
