Our Take(Spoilers):

After something happened last week, we got a double dose of episodes this week. That wasn’t the only thing we got double of… unfortunately, we also got double the betrayal. But the way this show handles things like that is fascinating because of the time loop aspect. I don’t know how it fits exactly, but in the other timeline Kyle and Zentos were not only friends, but Zentos had taught Kyle everything he knew about wielding the sword. Kyle hated having to kill someone that he knew as a friend and mentor, even if it was in a different timeline, so he was going to find out who was responsible. The only person who could order Zentos to do anything was the king, and Kyle did what he had to do.

Kyle wasn’t the only one who got a little bloodthirsty in this episode. Theron, so far, has been played up as an affable loser. But during this episode, we learned that he’s not all talk; he’s also one of the best swordsmen to exist. He even pulled off the Piccolo trick of dropping some weighted clothing to move faster. I figured he would be able to hold off the thirty royal knights, but I didn’t think he would kill them so easily. Not only that, but he offered to let some of them escape, but killed them anyway, which isn’t something you usually see heroes do, so the characters in this show just got a whole lot more interesting.
