English Dub Review: My Dress-Up Darling “I’ll Make It Happen, No Matter What with These Two Hands”
Overview:
Wakana finishes up Marin’s suit for her Rei-sama cosplay, and the day of the beauty pageant finally arrives.
Our Take:
I don’t know how much more praise I can heap on this show in its second season. The animation is so good. There was a scene where Gojo was about to apply Marin’s makeup and was having trouble focusing because everyone from class wanted to watch. But then he put his headband on and became intensely focused. I’m glad that Gojo is starting to find people who support what he does because Marin has broadened his horizons and shown him it’s okay to be vocal about your interests.
I felt bad for Marin because she wanted to take some photos alone with Gojo in the photobooth. What ended up happening was she got pushed out, and all the guys were taking photos with him instead. The romance fans like me might be a bit disappointed because we didn’t get a lovey-dovey moment, but I think it’s good for Gojo to make more friends. I love how both characters have grown, especially Gojo. It’s nice that there are people who ask him for help and don’t judge him for being into things that might be viewed as “girl” hobbies. I do hope that something romantic happens for our two leads soon, though.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
