English Dub Review: A Couple of Cuckoos “There’s No Way I Can Be Normal!!”

Overview:

Nagi and Erika are trapped in a hotel room by her mother, who seems to be playing with them!

Our Take:

Can you imagine having a mother who’s actively trying to get you laid? That would be wild, but that seems to be the exact situation Nagi and Erika find themselves in. She does a bunch of things to try and “set the mood,” such as turning the heat on in the room to get them to take their clothes off. They both decided that if they were going to fall in love with each other, it would have to be something they would decide on their own. Not something that is forced to happen, which reminded Erika’s mother of her husband, which makes sense as he’s actually Nagi’s father.

Lucky for them, Ai wasn’t okay with them having alone time and managed to find out what hotel they were at. She then snuck into their room, and I’m not sure if she’s planning on busting them out or what. But I think, despite her feelings towards Nagi, Erika is going to be glad to have some help when it comes to escaping this situation.
