English Dub Review: Teogonia “Arbitration God”

Overview:

Kai returns to the valley where his journey started, where he learns more about the valley god.

Our Take:

Everyone in the village saw Kai getting close with Lady Jose and they all thought the same thing I did. Which is unfortunate for the village girl, Elsa because she seems to be crushing on Kai pretty hard. But unlike Jose, she at least is semi-aware of the fact that she’s into him even if she’s in denial a little bit but that seems to be more because the other ladies like to tease her.

Meanwhile, it was a little lackluster when Jose confronted Kai about being a guardian bearer as well. She wants to prove herself and if I’m not mistaken she is wanting to get trained up by him.

Kai wants to discover more of this newfound power so he goes into the valley at night. There he runs into some people that look like a mix of traditional dwarfs and elves. They’re short like dwarfs but have ears like elves. Kai talks to their elder and they run into a pack of orcs that needs to be taken care of. The elder is a guardian bearer and it turns out one of the orcs is as well. I thought this was quite the revelation but maybe not as big as the elder thinking that Kai is the Arbitration God.
