English Dub Review: From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! “Dad is Moved to Tears”

Overview:

Grace and Anna have both proven their worth repeatedly. Unfortunately, some insist on sowing division between them.

Our Take:

Kenzaburo might be Dad of the Year, especially with how well he’s handling being in the body of a fifteen-year-old girl. I was a bit worried about pervy stuff being involved in this series when I saw the initial synopsis, but this has been one of the more wholesome shows I’ve seen. There hasn’t been much in the way of conflict, which could be a no-go for some people. Even the way Kenzaburo handled the bully girls was very nice and showed off his bureaucratic skills.

Hinako was running into a dead end when it came to how she could try and help her dad in the game. I could be wrong here, but it looked like she could influence things a bit by controlling Orion. When Grace was talking with the snobby girls, she kept her composure, but Orion was getting upset with them, while at the same time, Hinako was getting upset playing the game. Since she had a hand in Orion’s creation, it makes sense that it would be the best way to help her dad.
