English Dub Review: Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! “Urgent Quest – Defeat the Demons!”
Overview
Disappearances plague the neighboring town of Lenard, and the demon, Beryl, is behind it all. Aria accepts a quest to save the people in trouble.
Our Take
The latest episode introduces a group of seasoned heroes who previously fought in a great war against demons. Among them are Cedric Ruine and his close-knit party, who team up with Tama, Aria, and Vulcan. Their journey takes them through hot springs, monster-filled territories, and a growing threat that forces each member to rise to the occasion.
The highlight, as always, is Tama, who continues to steal the spotlight with his growth in a multitude of ways. While other characters get their share of development, Tama’s determination and evolving power set the pace. A dangerous mission pushes him to new limits, showing just how far he’s come since the series began, and suggesting even bigger challenges lie ahead…
Overall, this series continues to impress by blending goofy humor, heart, and fantasy action. What initially felt like a light, borderline chaotic adventure is gradually revealing more depth and purpose. While the fan-service can be hit or miss, it continues to shine when it leans into character bonds, monster battles, and the emotional stakes that keep it all compelling, especially that cliffhanger ending.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
