English Dub Review: Medalist “Morning Arrives”

Overview:

The day of the Level Six Badge Test has finally arrived. The venue is the memorable place where Inori first met Hikaru. When Hikaru suddenly appears, she promises to meet Inori again at the All-Japans.

Our Take:

I will break this down by the news for this series—first, the good news. This episode was another awesome one. Inori has come so far since the first episode, I love when a show splices images of where a character was in the beginning while showing where they are currently. Inori has been trying to get on the same level as Hikaru so she can compete with her, and now she’s finally arrived.

Bad news: This was the last episode for the season and where they stopped was one of the worst places they could have stopped. Inori has finally made it to where she wants to be but now we have to wait to see her compete with the big dawgs.

Great news: We got confirmation of a second season in production and I’m so excited. I didn’t know what to expect from this show but it was fantastic. The only negative I can think of is the CGI is kind of meh but other than that this was a phenomenal show whether you like sports anime or not.
