English Dub Review: Loner Life in Another World “Alone Again”

Overview:

After saving Merielle, Haruka is paid a handsome sum and granted ID which allows him to freely leave town.

Our Take:

Look Haruka just wants to be left alone and live in the woods. I don’t know why he’s such a loner but when it’s in the title you know it has to be true. I was disappointed because it seemed like Merielle was going to become a bigger deal than giving Haruka an ID and then he left. I also don’t understand why the class rep is so bent on not letting Haruka do his loner thing. I’m sure there’s probably a crush or something on her end but not letting someone live how they want isn’t a good way to make that crush come to reality.

We also learned that someone killed all the delinquents and hurt a lot of the jocks as well. It was a guy that I don’t remember seeing once in the show thus far or even being mentioned. I can’t even remember his name but he is voiced by Adam Gibbs so he has that going for him. It looks like the next episode going to be a showdown between him and Haruka.
