English Dub Review: Ishura “Hiroto the Paradox”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
Yukiharu is targeted by mercenaries, and Hiroto the Paradox visits the leader of Okahu.
Our Take:
Throughout the season’s second half, Yukiharu has searched tooth and nail for clues involving the late Demon King. However, from the looks of things, his endless investigation may have taken a toll on his mental health, similar to how I’m feeling about the show’s structure. Fortunately, despite the good merits, I don’t have to endure it much longer as we’re heading toward the end of season two, at least until the third season rolls along. Beforehand, this week’s episode reveals another shocking secret that could play a significant role in the show’s future, mainly from Zegita Yogi the One Thousand and First. In addition to being Yukiharu’s client, Zegita Yogi, last seen in “Tu the Magic”, is also in cahoots with Hiroto the Paradox, a gray-haired child whose manipulative and expert conversations assist in gaining connections with the higher-ups.
After witnessing a Yukiharu moment that continued where “Kazuki the Black Tone” left off, the episode shifts its focus to Hiroto, whose plan is to enter the Royal Games by winning over the hearts of Okahu. You may think that Hiroto’s conversational and political skills are no match for the other powerful Shuras competing in the games, but the episode shows that that’s not true. Instead of entering the games himself, Hiroto enters Zegita Yogi and Ozunezma the Chimera as his “heroes”. Regarding his devious intentions and personality, Hiroto does seem to be another formidable threat to the other Shuras, emphasizing that it takes more than brute strength to achieve victory over their opponents. Benefitting from Michael Lorz’s vocal performance, Hiroto offers an aura whose mischievous side is hidden within his innocent and young appearance. In a way, “Hiroto the Paradox” is a political-focused episode that involves Hiroto climbing to the top through his promises of protection and sanctuary from the war. It can be a bit complicated regarding Hiroto’s plan, but not in a way that makes the character less interesting.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
