English Dub Review: Honey Lemon Soda “The Side of You No One Knows”

Overview:

Ishimori ponders the nature of her relationship with Miura. What are they to each other?

Our Take:

Miura started acting distant, and normally, Ishimori would chalk it up to him disliking her or something. But Ishimori has grown in these last few episodes and decides to find out why he’s been acting weird, he even went so far as to give up his secret nap spot to the faculty, so now it’s closed. Ishimori follows Miura and finds out he’s working part-time at a host club of sorts, but she gets caught by some of his co-workers. Let’s just say that they suggest doing some “unsavory” things with her, and when Miura finds out, he isn’t having any of it.

I’m almost certain that this show isn’t going to cover all the manga, so I don’t expect this to have a satisfactory ending. But I do hope that by the last episode, Ishimori and Miura might be together. I think it’s obvious that he has feelings for her, and he’s tried to drop some hints, but of course, she wouldn’t catch on. When your self-esteem is that low, you begin to think that there’s no way anyone could be interested in you. But with as much as she’s grown lately, I hope that she can express her feelings to him and vice versa.
