All Episodes Of ‘Ada’ debuts on TED-Ed

The series follows a recent graduate called Ada as she explores how different transformative technologies could shape the future of humanity. Each episode tackles a different topic, from surviving an apocalypse to AI to creating artificial wombs.

Ada is a five-episode series that follows Ada, a recent graduate, as she juggles two worlds she struggles to keep separate: her dull reality as a library assistant and her imagination, where she explores how different transformative technologies could shape the future.
Ada explores these questions with humour, vibrant settings, and a willingness to engage with the weird. Each episode’s imagined future showcases new environments, colour palettes, textures, and character designs.
Ada has been voted Best Animated Series at the Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation & Technology and Professional Series Animation at the Raw Science Film Festival.
Ada is written and directed by Elizabeth Cox, founder of independent production company Should We Studio. Previously, Elizabeth was the Senior Editorial Producer at TED-Ed, where she produced over 200 animated shorts with hundreds of millions of views and over 10,000 years of watch time. At TED-Ed, she wrote and led the development of new series, including “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster,” a seven-part adaptation of the book by Bill Gates (supported by Gates Ventures), and “Demon of Reason.” She also served as a science advisor on My Love Affair With Marriage,” an animated feature film that premiered at the Tribeca Festival 2021.
