This time around, Rentarō meets his ninth soulmate, baseball club member Iku Sutō, who is recruiting members to replace the rest of the club while they’re overseas. And Rentaro being the “gung-ho” determined dude that he is, decides to help Iku keep her baseball club alive. With a crucial match ahead, she pushes herself beyond her limits, inspiring others to rise to the occasion as well. What starts as an unusual introduction quickly turns into a display of dedication, teamwork, and an amusing mix of training mishaps and heartfelt moments, even if Uku is a different flavor of dysfunctional compared to the other ladies.
