English Dub Review: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? “(Fólkvangr) Hell”

Overview:

The Hestia Familia may have formed an alliance for the War Game, but the Freya Familia earned its fearsome reputation for a reason. The allied army is about to find out why.

Our Take:

Usually, when big battles happen in anime there are ebbs and flows. Oftentimes it starts with the hero team starting strong but not being prepared for something the opposing team does. But in this case, it felt like Hestia’s team was getting beat from the start. They had a good plan but it didn’t get off to a good start and Bell began the fight getting his ass beat as well. All I’m gonna say is it’s not looking good but as we know something has to change because Bell never loses.

I find it fascinating that everyone in Orario can see what is going on in the war game. Poor Ais has to watch Bell get thrown around like a toy. I don’t know what Bell can do to turn the tide, but I remember he has a power that gets stronger the more dire things look. Well, things are looking pretty dire, so I hope he can manage to pull that off.
