English Dub Review: Honey Lemon Soda “In the Future, Too…”
Overview:
Uka and her friends are working hard on the culture festival. She’s determined to make their café a success!
Our Take:
Ishimori decides to be more assertive and volunteers to be the class rep for the culture festival. This led to a scene I loved where she got out in front of every other class to ask to do a cafe. She had to do a lot of things she’s uncomfortable with to advance things with the festival and I couldn’t have been more proud. But she still has a long way to go in a lot of other ways, especially when it comes to Miura.
On one hand, it’s nice that she realizes people other than Miura can make her happy and be fun to be around. Her self-confidence has come leaps and bounds when it comes to interacting with friends and helping the class. She has to realize that her love isn’t going to go anywhere if she doesn’t say anything ever. Especially when he includes her in his video for the contest he’s in. But of course Ishimori lets others convince her she’s a burden to him. The romance aspect has been the only downside so far, I’d like to see more progress.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
