English Dub Review: Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War “My Last Words”

Overview:

Haschwalth suddenly attacks Uryu to pass judgment.

Our Take(Spoilers):

There’s a whole lot going on here and we got some revelations that were revealed with little to no impact in my opinion. As I guessed, Uryu is still with Ichigo and the gang but how he let them know was lame. He just said it nonchalantly, though I guess with Ichigo hounded him for half the episode I can understand why. But it felt like a letdown to me and a betrayal of Uryu’s character, he’s smart he wouldn’t have said that out loud not knowing where Haschwalth was.

I’m still not sure why Haschwalth has the same eyes that Yhwach has but if I saw someone like that I wouldn’t say anything confidential within a mile of that guy. I’m starting to think my theory that he’s also a traitor might not be accurate or he’s playing the loooooonnnngggg con. What I do know is that now Ichigo and Uryu are going to have to join up and fight against him which is something I’m looking forward to. I also love how both Ichigo and Uryu’s dad’s are trying to get to the soul society, I hope we get to see them soon.
