Watch New Animated Music Videos For Bloodywood/BabyMetal And Jerry Cantrell

Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains) is getting ready to kick off a national tour at the end of January with Filter and is doing so in conjunction with the release of a new spoken word animated series inspired by his solo record “I Want Blood”.

The first video was directed by Boy Tillekens and is for the track “Vilified” with new animated videos coming every Thursday on Jerry’s YouTube channel inspired by the rest of the album’s individual tracks. Get tour dates in the YouTube video description.

Bloodywood has been having an amazing year having had their debut track be featured in the incredible Dev Patel-directed/starring filmΒ Monkey ManΒ earlier this year and now the New Delhi-founded group has teamed up with BabyMetal for a new animated music video directed by Debjyoti Sah.

Anyone thinking it’s strange that an Indian-produced animated music video would look closer to Japanese, don’t be. Anime has influenced animation producers all over the world coupled with the fact that the song features an assist from Tokyo’s Babymetal makes this video that much more enjoyable. Moreover, this follows Babymetal’s incredible year that included tons of touring with the likes of Dethklok and a concert film which is slated to hit theaters starting December 11th entitled BABYMETAL LEGEND – 43 THE MOVIE.
