The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim Gets Digital Release Date
The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim is scheduled to be released on digital on December 27, 2024, only 14 days after its theatrical run. This after the $30 million Lord of the Rings fanfic bombed grossing just under $16 million. This after Fandango ranked this movie as one of the most anticipated of the fall season which goes to show those rankings must really not matter in the long run.
This disastrous run is just the latest fuck up from WB Discovery producer Jason DeMarco who also came under fire for Uzumaki underwhelming everyone with it’s shitty production and past efforts at trying to adapt an series like Blade Runner only to screw that up as well.
Pre-order the movie on Prime Video today.
Synopsis:
A sudden attack by Wulf, a ruthless Dunlending lord, forces Helm Hammerhand and his people to make a daring last stand in the ancient stronghold of the Hornburg. Finding herself in an increasingly desperate situation, Helm’s daughter, Héra, must lead the resistance against a deadly enemy who’s intent on total destruction.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
