Review: Krapopolis “Enter Prophecy Duck”
Overview
There’s a new king in town — the Rug King; horrible timing for a prophecy foretelling of Tyrannis’ downfall; Stupendous tries to get deep with Deliria.
Our Take
I feel like a common trope in Krapopolis is Tyrannis constantly having to outdo prophecies so I’m not sure what a Prophecy Duck is even doing here to begin with, but when the episode wraps, it does start to make some $en$e. In any event, this week’s episode features yet-again our king doing what he can to make sure Krapopolis doesn’t meet some sort of doom or new leader. In this case, his competition is that of a Rug King that seemed pretty harmless, as such, you probably could even guess how the episode was going to end before it did.
Stupendous and Deliria attempt to hash things out, but even Deliria notes just how boring too much of Stupendous can truly be and quite frankly I’m with the Goddess on this one. It’s not that I have anything personally against Pam Murphy, but if her character isn’t fighting something I start to snore out loud and not in a good way.
Dash Turner checks in, dines, and then dashes but not before leaving us an episode that seemed pretty pedestrian in its execution. Fortunately, the show’s second season has a bunch more episodes on the way to make up for it so we’ll see if we can get some more good blood from this stone.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
