English Dub Review: After School Hanako-Kun Episode 8
OVERVIEW (SPOILERS)
In an alternate universe, the cast are all working at a monster hotel.
OUR TAKE
At long last, after four grueling weeks of ad-libbing through a comedic spin-off series of a show that I have not, and very likely will not ever, see or understand in any meaningful way, the second and hopefully last batch of these EXACTLY ten minute episodes is OVER. And to further highlight, emphasize, and cement how much of a waste of time these shorts were, it’s actually a completely separate alternate universe episode where all of the characters are staff at a hotel for monsters, but unfortunately we don’t have Genndy Tartokovsy to give Adam Sandler wacky and expressive animations to supplement this premise. Nope, instead we have a bunch of characters who I still know next to nothing about doing jokes that are either specific enough that I don’t understand what they mean, or broad enough that they fall completely flat for me. And I’m almost completely certain that no one who is a big enough fan to watch these even reads these reviews, but on the off chance that they do, I hope this is clear: I do not hate this series, far from it in fact. I’m sure for those who know it and love it, it is a fine piece of cute horror comedy.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
