English Dub Review: Nina the Starry Bride “Crimson Eyes”

Overview:

Nina arrives in Galgada and quickly discovers that the situation is unexpected. When she learns that her marriage to the First Prince of Galgada isn’t certain, she steels her resolve and sets out to carve a place for herself.

Our Take:

We’re not in love triangle status yet, but I would be willing to bet my life savings that we will eventually get there. Sett, the First Prince of Galgada, is a dick let’s be real. But I’ve seen this story before, I’m sure that he’s got some trauma in why he is the way he is and treats women the way that he does. Eventually, Nina will make her way past those defenses and he will fall for her I’m sure. I imagine that soon Azure will show up and that part of it I’m looking forward to but as they say first impressions are key and Sett’s wasn’t very good.

I want to give a shoutout to Jill Harris who voices Nina. I’ve always been a fan of hers but she brings a fun charm to the character. Nina can get a little ahead of herself and get over-excited and I don’t think they could have found a better actress for the role.
